  • Don't throw the electronics away.. Let them DRY out and you might be very surprised. Do not plug them back in until they are 100% dry.

  • With floodwater damage though, that's not a good idea. Mud and even sewage particles get into everything, clog the electronics, and can start a fire when the item overheats.

  • Yeah... I didn't think about the mud. It looked water damage in his house. Mud, sewage involved it does become a much more involved salvage situation. Most people don't want to crack into a case and have to manually clean components... I would but I just like taking stuff apart.
