In the final part we get to see more props and costumes from the various TV shows and feature films. This pretty much wraps up what the average visitor could be allowed to photograph and video tape.

  • Actually that WAS the real reason, for guests & employees alike. I got in a lot of trouble for that over the years... anyway, great coverage & commentary, you've made a wonderful documentation for the ages!

  • Thanks very much. Of course as most everyone knows by now ST:TE has a new home now. Last I heard it would be open sometime in 2009.

  • thanks a lot for sharing this.

I never got the chance to visit and this has at least given me a look around :-)

Was there a Galaxy class bridge section that you could walk around? or am i getting confused with a different attraction

  • There was indeed a replica of the Galaxy Class bridge that you could walk around. You could pay to get your photo taken sitting in the Captain's Chair (as seen at the end of part 4) but other than that we were always briefed that due to Federal copyright laws, we couldn't shoot any photos and video of the place. I personally never really believed that was the REAL reason they didn't want us, the visitor, to take photos/video of the bridge.

  • @seeled558 They just wanted a couple of extra bucks for Captain's chair photos from Star Trek nerds, if Paramount hasn't already gotten enough money from us.

  • I remember when this opened! I went there about 11 years ago (I still have my ticket stub too!) It's too bad they closed it. WHY?! WHY?! :(

  • I don't think this is anywhere anymore, I seem to remember a few months ago they were auctioning off the bits and pieces. :(

  • Thank you so much for this tour!... I had to opportunity to visit ST TE three days before it closed.

  • you know that the experience is not gone, it's just no longer in the hilton.
