Roman army

a short clip I and a friend of my made for history class at school, it's in dutch so you won't understand it.
I putted some footage of rome into this movie cause it's a great example of how Strong the Roman army is and it's a good show anyway

People really ignore real history but then even those who read a bit get the wrong view since history is taught really badly and by people who themselves have a wrong view on history.

@tecna64 Mongol expansion was not really any Empire at all. It was just a moving nomad army roaming around and slaying mostly defenseless villages while mostly trying to avoid engagement to the opponents' armies unless the situation was clearly to their advantage (mostly in terms of numbers...).

On the other hand the Roman Empire did not last thanks to its army which in tactical terms was NOT that good as you imagine. Romans held their Empire POLITICALLY with their ingenious diplomacy.

the mongol empire lasted alot less due to imperial overstretch, the sheer genius of the romans and the way its army was formed up made the empire last what it did
