Just a simple video showing the different stages of tear down of the one time pride in my house. The collection is simply in storage now, 55 boxes in all. They will move with us, the collection will be scaled down a bit and only a very small portion will be on display once we settle in our new location in California. A huge move from Indiana but a necessary step.

  • Wow Slow, that was painful to watch, but the West Coast is callin' .

The room looks good and sellable. Hope all goes well. We'll have to get a drink once you get to Cali.

  • We will certainly have a drink. Let me know where you are and we'll make it happen. The house sell is pending but we're 99% sure. Our plan is Thousand Oaks by July 17.

It's always hard to walk in the room and see it gone but it's all still here at least. :) California here we come!

  • dude that must really be a hard thing to go through i hope u dont have to sell ur collection

  • Yeah. Right now it is in my garage and a storage unit. It totally sucks. I go back into the room and just get a heavy heart.

  • your cat is so cute!

  • Snowball, or Boo. She's one of the coolest cats I have ever been around. Full of personality. Our other cat is cool as well. Funnier and goofier.

  • your welcome

  • Didn't mean for it to sound urked when I wrote it but seeing it now, it sort of looks that way. No worries. We had a rainy day fund but circumstances arose and took that. Just what it was there for. Then we lost almost all of our stocks. They are slowly building back up. It will take years to get back where they were. I'm laid back and mellow so it takes a lot to get to me. These two big stressors happening together are testing that patience, though. :)

  • Sorry slowda, I didn't mean to urk you. I know you're going through a tough time and i apologize. I was just expressing an opinion. You have to expect opinions that you don't like sometimes when you document part of your life on the internet.

  • Thanks little man. Here's to hoping it all works out.
