Motorized Lazy Boy Recliner Chair

I saw this guy driving around on a motorized Lazy Boy Recliner Chair at the park. It looks like he took the bottom of a hoveround motorized wheelchair and bolted a lazy boy recliner on top of it. He controls it with a hand held remote controller. If you have one of these, you'd better like attention.

Just needs a cooler on one side, a cup holder on the other, a flat TV in the front, a satellite dish on the top and I'll be done with my custom chair.

@bangalorebobbel Yes! I never thought of modifying a power wheelchair, but after seeing this guy, it makes a lot of sense.

And not only concerning fun purposes ...

means, of course we are now joking and laughing ... but if You consider that the population structure of many countries like eg Japan or Germany is going to change to an overaged population, You may find that there will be soon a high demand for comfortable and easy short distance transportation. Segway is not good for aged ones, but something to sit on it ... or at least some assisting wheels fixed on the Harley, as You showed ... ;-)

@bangalorebobbel You're right. I sometimes go on Youtube and look at some of the mobility devices coming out in Japan. They have electric leg assisters that strap onto people's legs and help them walk (called HAL for Hybrid Assisted Limbs) as well as some small portable scooters people can carry and ride on.

@fairyheli2 yes that could be the begin of a nice invention ... ;-)

just think about that You are 80plus and have some challenges with walking ... how would You prefer to go along the road, or inside Walmart or so? Using one of those elegant, but anyhow handicapped looking electrical devices from today? Or something really futuristic? Or something what You could use also if You would be the retired boss of a local Hells Angels chapter ... ;-)
