2. Pure white is just disturbing.

3. Every painting needs a happy little cloud.

You wouldn't see pure white...you don't want pure white cause that would be disturbing.

thank you for posting videos. I don't paint because I consider it too frustrating, I am more into using writing for my art which has been a better path for me to follow. But I love art in all its forms. I consider art to be just taking whatever is in your head at that time, and using symbols to let others know what you are thinking. Screenplays, books, paintings, sculptures, music, whatever. If you think about it, those are all just thoughts put into a accessible medium so others can see it.

It all starts with drawing. just draw a lot. or just go ahead and paint right away if you want to. The key is, paint from life. Start with easy shapes with a singular source of light, then maybe move on to things like fruit or flowers. There is no substitute for experience. The more you do it, (like anything really, music, sports, etc.) the better you will get. The big "secret" behind painting is that there is no secret. Just practice.
