Yesterday was Thanksgiving, and that also means that the town of Andover, Massachusetts has an annual road race on Thanksgiving known as the Feaster Five. My mother competed in the race (She did the 5K race except that she walked instead of ran. There is also a longer 5 mile course as well) for the fourth year in a row, but this was also my first time that I ever saw what the Feaster Five was like (Although I did not compete in the race at all). Anyways, this video has the start of the race in which you see thousands of runners leaving the starting line (Which means my mother can't be seen at all due to the big turnout of runners). Enjoy and I hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving as much as I did.
Note: I was not able to film a video of me at the finish line of the race (Which was at Brickstone Court which can easily be seen from I-495) because of copyrighted music being played on the stereo systems (Some of the Christmas music is owned by the dreaded WMG as well, so I had to play it safe).
I run cross country so I know how it feels
