Typical way of playing the montuno stlye on guitar! This sound very cool, one of the best tricks on guitar for latin/jazz music.

  • This a generic cuban picking pattern over the Brazilian Samba....

  • You just happen to have the most easy to understand, student-friendly, enlightening videos of them all. My hat goes off to you!

  • The rhythm you are playing is more Bossa Nova than cuban montuno, but it sound great....good stuff!

  • what's the effect on your guitar could you set the tabs/chords in a reaction please

  • Not sure if you mean it but i think the F sharp maj 7 at 0:09 should be an E maj 7 add 9? That seems to be what you are playing and the F sharp bass not does not fit here i don't think. Great rhythm lesson though!!
