This video was shot on May 27, 2001, with Jon Davies, one of the greatest severe weather researchers/meteorologists of our time. It documents the birth of a large, severe storm called a derecho between Garden City and Dodge City, Kansas. This incredible storm produced 100 to 110mph winds and cut a swath of damage hundreds of miles long from southwest Kansas to northwest and north-central Texas.

  • Yeah, pretty bored, so I dusted off this old relic. It's a goody though! Glad you liked it. I'm slowly, but surely recovering from the gall bladder thing. Taking it easy and a day at a time.
