Watch in HQ!

This is my Msi Wind running Mac OS leopard installed with WindOSX86 disc.

The computer hasn't been modded, so it's running leopard with just 1 gb. ram and and a non-overclocked Atom at 1.6 Ghz.

Hope you enjoy the video and have fun installing leopard on your pc :)

  • is it a comfortable computer to use on a daily basis for these types of things? im currently used to a 1600x1200 display. i know mac os is better on space/program window look vs windows overall

  • Netbooks are not supposed to replace your main computer.

I use it only when have to work outside and need portability. However, when i have to write a long paper or edit a movie or whatever, i use my quad core desktop pc, which i find a lot more comforable.

    cheers

  • there are sometimes just things a notebook isn't as good as when you can have quad core with array drives etc, cool response

i think apple did a great job adding 9400M to the air though and if those ssd's keep on getting fast.. (we might be getting closer)

however nothing beats the hum of a desktop with a gigantic display and that 5.1 home theater surround sound experience..

  • what you say is very true. Adding a 9400m to the air makes it quite powerful, however, i consider it's too expensive for the hardware you get ($1799). I would rather pick a macbook, i know it's thicker, but i like it. And i don't think 13,3" is small enough if you want high portability.

By the way, i can't belive how expensive ssd disks are, i hope they get cheaper when they become popular. (if that ever happens)

    cheers

  • SSDs are very expensive indeed. i wouldn't spend that much on the speed of SSDs but their performance is just jaw dropping. not to mention windows 7 optimizes SSD usage for caches that's great for gaming.

    cheers!
