what program do you use to record the guitar when its plugged in? Do you add effects before or after you record it? I am thinking about getting it, but i want to make sure i dont have to pay extra for something i dont have already
-
for sure man hey message me so i can message you back when i make a video i know of some software that lets you have unlimited tracks and such :) ill make the video tonight
-
O no, i figured it out, thanks though, but can u tell me if there is liek a free site of somthin to get that upgrade, because now it only lets me record 4 audio-tracks unless im in demo mode, but if im in demo mode i cant cut my stuff to CD's, if u no of a place to get it, reply please
No that is paid software "Acid". A crippled version of Ableton Live comes with the Toneport I think but Reaper and Mixcraft are the best low cost options. Kristal is a free option.

hey man good vid,iam thinkin of gettin one of these but how would you get drums onto it
drany7 3 years ago
You have two mics, it only records stereo. You could feed a mixer into it for more mics but since it only records two tracks you are limited.

the line 6 have drum machine??

The Toneport has a practice drum machine but (shown in the video) but not one for us in recording. Just a simple rhythm maker for practice.

what speakers do u use?
ronlim90 3 years ago
I mainly use headphones but I have some cheapo recording monitors. Flat response monitors are important, standard speakers will mislead you on the sound.
