From Lisa's first posthumous album, Eye Legacy.
The song was originally recorded in 1998 for possible inclusion in the 1999 multi-platinum FanMail or Lopes' solo debut. The song was not included with FanMail as it did not fit the album's sound, and was not included in Lopes' solo debut because Lopes decided to go in a different sound than that of Let's Just Do It. When the idea for Eye Legacy was brought about, Let's Just Do It was selected to go on the Album and was then chosen to be the lead single. In 2008, Missy Elliott and Chilli, T-Boz was already on the track, (Lopes' TLC bandmates) recorded vocals on the song, as the track was given a new beat.
