  • @terry9911 Cool living in the 60's sounds so awesome I am a fan of the classic cars though much better looking then the cars we have but I never knew that the Beatles were on Ed Sulivan show that's cool I'm a fan of the Beatles I love yellow submarine :)

  • @27jengirl I grew up in the 60s and it was great other than Vietnam on TV every night. The music was great, TV shows were great, baseball cards and hot wheels were great. I was 10 by the end of '65 so I was much more aware of current events like the new Ford Mustang, The Beatles, and all the other cool cars. I'm still a car nut but did you know when the Beatles were on Ed Sullivan Show in '64, the crime rate in NY city was 0 for that entire hour they were on TV?

  • I wish I lived in the 60's I really don't like the year 2011 if I could I would time travel into the 60's

  • That was back when ABC wasn't the media bias it is today.

  • The announcer is Michael Rye, later the animated voice of "The Lone Ranger" on CBS' 1966 Saturday morning schedule. This is a September 1964 promo, seen shortly after the series began. A live staff announcer usually added at :25, "Friday at 7:30/6:30 Central Time, over most of these stations".
