  • Jake Peavy should be on the mound

  • He will be there eventually. Right now it's Eric Show. I almost picked Sterling Hitchcock.

  • how u gonna use a pic of benito in a giants jersey? u have committed the ultimate sin putting nevin @ 3rd! real friar fan know caminitti was the only tru 3rd baseman sd ever had!

  • That's the first time I have noticed that. The photo I used has Santiago at a side profile and from that angle...the uniform looks like a modern-day Padres uniform (helmet and all). But when Santiago played for the Padres...they wore pinstripes. Nice find and my bad. In regards to Nevin and Caminiti...The Padres organization as a whole is only 40 years old and that is not very old. Dave Winfield and Tony Gwynn are their only Hall-of-Famers. So you have a good argument with Cam and Nev.

  • Seriously how the heck can the creator of this video not have Ken Caminit at third base. Ozzie Smith at shortstop and Roberto Alomar at second base?

  • @Catfishruss619 SP: Randy Jones, MR Craig Lefferts, Closer Trevor Hoffman, Setup Man??

  • center field: Steve Finley, Third Base Ken Caminiti, SS, OZZIE SMITH, 2nd Base Roberto Alomar, 1st base Nate Colbert, RF TONY MOTHERFUCKING GWYNN, Left Field, Greg Vaughn. Catcher Benito Santiago/Mike Piazza.

  • @OPSportsInc um you guys are both nuts. It should be Randy Jones or Andy Benes MAAAAYBE Kevin Brown. I can agree with hitchcock for winning the mvp in 98 nlcs... but still.

  • Wiggins leadoff at 2b and The Garv at 1b no doubt.

  • Dave Winfield should be in right field, he had the best arm of any Padre player ever, and actually one of the all time best arms in that position. I also think Ozzie Smith should be the ss, Templeton had one season hitting above 250 and I always thought he was a bust with the Pads, and where is Ken Caminiti, he was the best 3rd baseman they ever had? The pitcher should be Randy Jones, the only two time 20 game winner for the Pads. Robbie Alomar should be at second.

  • I think you've gotta have Ken Caminiti at third. NL MVP in 1996, and anchor of the 1998 World Series squad. Also, I'd put Ozzie Smith at short if we're talking about all-time greats to wear a Padres jersey.

  • 1-LF Gene Richards 2-RF Tony Gwynn 3-CF Dave Winfield 4-1B Adrian Gonzalez 5-3B Ken Caminiti 6-C Benito Santiago 7-2B Roberto Alomar 8-SS Ozzie Smith RHP Gaylord Perry LHP Randy Jones Closer Trevor Hoffman
  • Tony Gwynn batting second? What?

  • @mxserr Kenroid Caminiti would never get my pick bc he cheated. Steve Garvey? John Kruk? very questionable.......

  • CF Grubb, 2B Fuentes, RF Winfield,1B McCovey, LF Tolan, 3B Ivie, C Kendall, SS Enzo Hernandez, P Randy Jones.

    Padres Win!!!
