[Unreleased Game Music] Corpse Party: Book of Shadows - Main Theme 3 (Morishige's Theme)

Music from the 2011 PSP game "Corpse Party: Book of Shadows," recorded from the in-game sound test. Composed by Mao Hamamoto.

Background image is a screenshot from the game that was actually saved through its "album mode," where you can unlock images, view them and save them to your memory stick. I wish more games would have that feature!

As an aside, the beginning part of this track really, really reminds me of several tracks from the Opoona OST, largely due to the similar instrumentation and style. If anyone wants more awesome music, I highly recommend checking out the Opoona OST sometime.

Morishige keept takeing pictures of the shattered and mutilited bodies to keep himself "sane" as far as I understod it, claiming he would feel sorry for them if he'd of known them before-

But as he looks at picture by picture he gets a call when he drools and comments about the gorespray on the wall. Awnsering the call and hears Mayu's voice telling him to stop looking at her.

He slowly goes crazy and soon cracks his head open on the floor by bashing it over and over.

@TokikoNyuu I think he mentally got disturbed because his loneliness and suffering for being completely alone and not finding Mayu, then he found out that he got relaxed watching the suffering of other people and it kept him "sane".
