The opening number of our local production of "Drowsy Chaperone" - Portage Community Theatre, directed by Craig Golbesky. Nov-Dec 2010. I played the Man in the Chair, and it was one of the best times I've had on stage. What a great cast, huh? I'll have to put up a couple more clips - this comes right after my intro. The Man in Chair starts the record spinning, and the cast pops up in his apartment, right out of the furniture, brought to life by the record player. Notice I lift the needle occasionally to explain things, and everyone obligingly freezes.
This is a copyrighted work, of course - performance rights are through MTI, Music Theatre International. Music and Lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison, and Book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar. I'm forever indebted to them for a wonderful show, a favorite of mine since the 2006 Tonys.
@Molokopoko - I will definitely take that as a compliment! Thanks!!

This is just excellent! Great voices and band, and you (Man in chair) have a bit of an Ed Wynn thing going on. Great!!
