This rare commercial from 1971 hasn't aired in at least 20 years. As a kid in the 70s, it really scared the hell out of me. Now it's a shrine of ultimate nostalgia. Gotta love that early 70s ret...

Wow did this freak me out as a kid. I still feel a little uneasy seeing the logo with the psychedelic swirl and evil laugh. Mr Yuk is still doing his job.

This commercial SCARED the EVER-LOVIN' SH*T outta me when I was a kid. What's really funny is my dad and both my grandparents were nurses. I KNEW what would kill me in the cupboard (besides Grandma's Kimchi), and it STILL terrified me.

Props to the ad agency who came up with this one. There's an army of scarred former children who never drank drain cleaner ready to thank you (kick your ass).
