Maybe there was two long guns in the trunk, and this only shows them removing the second one.
Aerial of police finding a loaded long gun in the trunk of a car in the school parking lot appears to be a shotgun. This occurred hours after law enforcement sources already confirmed that they found a Bushmaster AR-15 in his trunk. .223 shells were found at the scene. Who was shooting the .223 inside the school then? From the NBC News Connecticut live feed on 12/14/12.

most of the gun murders in the uk are from gangs that still have illegal guns. same in america. theres always a black market, and the gangs will have righteous access to these. you can look at marry ol' england for those stats. another thing england does is if a man robs 5 houses on the same street on the same night, it is considered 1 robbery. go get some REAL statistics and come back. better yet, dont worry about america. worry about your own.

the 2nd amendment sttates that it can not be infringed upon. sorry this isnt fucking england, this country was trying to break free from tyrannical europe. enlgand and the u.s. are both police states. walk around a city, everyones being watched. you say 45% of americans own guns, and you keep saying this. i am NOT included in this list as a gun owner, yet i own 2. keep in mind half of guns are not even registered. the number is flawed like unemployment numbers.

America shouldn't give up the 2nd Amendment completely! They should just update it, make it more applicable for the 21st century!

Example! - 200 years ago, slavery was legal, women had no rights, nor did African Americans! Those laws have been updated, surely a law which cause 4500 American deaths a year should be updated also!

Or maybe Americans should be limited to using the firearms that the Founding Fathers had in 1776. No AR-15s (they weren't around then), just muskets! LOL

America is supposed to be about freedom!? What freedom do those Sandy Hook victims have, or the Columbine victims, or Virginia Tech!? It's a farce that so many Americans are so short-sighted and selfish that they are preventing the government from changing the laws to help people!

You'd still have rights and freedom as American citizens, but you'd live in a country with more sensible gun laws! The 2nd Amendment won't be abolished, just updated!!

I don't live there, but I find it ludicrous that after 250 years, you still haven't updated this law! Your gun crime/murder rates have shot up and still, over the last 50 years of American citizens being murdered, the US government has done nothing!

let me remind you the cities that has open carry have a lower violent crime offenses compared to cities that makes it illegal to carry a gun. you people make it sound like guns just walk around town shooting people, or that they just randomly go off while no ones touching them. if someones sick enough to kill with a gun, they will find another way to damage society drastically. like i said, you can never stop lunatics. you act if you ban guns,violent mentally ill people will be normal.
