Lone Pilgrim

This is one of my favorite numbers that Bob Dylan covered on his 1994 folk album "World Gone Wrong." It's a very sweet testimony from beyond the grave. Not only is Dylan a great song writer, but an excellent source for old and rare folk songs. "World Gone Wrong" and it's 1992 predecessor "Good as I Been to You" contain folk and blues songs not written by Dylan. They are two of my favorite Dylan albums for that reason among others. Dylan often performs the old folk songs along with his own great material in concert.

I call this "the dog barkin' video" due to the dog in the background. He stops once I get into the song. Providence?

I learned that this song is the subject of one Rev. Joseph Thomas.
