Nice video. Educational, yet destructive. Most of the other videos of blowing stuff up don't explain the science behind it. Thanks!

you know that you can buy some lighter-flint and little metal bar alone, yes? no need to kill a lighter for that...

mac-fucking-guyver!
-
make it baseball size, gotta flame grenade
-
watvea. jsut throw it on the ground. the top comes off, pick the lighter up and then smash it hard down. it would create something like that

could this be done with a ferricium rod? like a fire steel?
werewolfofzion1 1 year ago
@werewolfofzion1 Yes is could... the effect occurs simply because of the ferrocerium composition of the "flint", not because of anything special about what they use in the lighter.

sooo is this the same as throwing the whole lighter and causing it to explode? or is that just the gas pop
FlashDusk 1 year ago
@FlashDusk What you are talking about is making a crack in the fluid tank and causing it to explosively decompress. This, on the other hand, makes the ferrocerium unstable.

It's called FERROCERIUM, not "ferocium", dumbass.

Yes, just as the comments call it. Although I did put a note where I misspoke in the video. Thanks for the edit, dumbass.
