Robocop was part of a show called MARVEL ACTION UNIVERSE, which ran on sydication. I remember seeing in NY on NBC 6AM Sundays. It ran along with reruns of SPIDER-MAN AND HIS AMAZING FRIENDS (editing the series from 24 min to 20 min) and a new show called DINO-RIDERS for one season. A year later, MAU showed reuns of ROBOCOP and DINO-RIDERS only.

We I first saw this years ago, I always felt that suit was actually pretty effective even though it lost. It probably deserved a production run.

the animation in this show is very similiar, looks a lot like the original Transformers and G.I. Joe cartoon

Oh yeah they worked for DiC, Marvel, Filmation, many other companies before working on prouductions exclusive to Saban, you know your stuff. :)

It iwas avaliable on DVD in the UK in region 2 PAL format, however the current set is out of print. But who knows it may be re-released.
