@Kinjokai He was really interested in parts, especially when he got to have a go - but it was quite a long shoot and so probably was a bit tired in places.

could i go to GM and ask for a "flare" with a middle and edges twice the thickness of the normal one?

@SwitchfootFan47 wow, not sure, that sounds like a railway sleeper! They are a pretty resonable company to deal with though. I suppose anything can be manufactured for a fee! There's a bigger bat out now with a bigger profile, edges and sweet spot that might fit the bill. Have a look at the website - it's called the Flare DXM™ GM+
