Video of Rodney Peete, Jr. (RJ) son of football great Rodney Peete and actress Holly Robinson Peete to support autism. The video is on the HollyRod Foundation website www.hollyrod.org
Beginning video written, directed and produced by the Peete children, most notably RJ's twin sister Ryan. Second half of video is the song "Come Into My World" written and performed by Holly and RJ. The song was produced by Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds.

The HollyRod Foundation was started by the Peetes eleven years ago to give a voice and a hand to those striving for quality of life when theirs has been diminished due to disease or disorders. Through watching Holly's father, Matthew T. Robinson, struggle with Parkinson's disease the Peetes were moved to form the foundation. After Holly and Rodneys eldest son, RJ, was diagnosed with autism, the foundation expanded its mission creating the hollyrod4kids initiative.

Like Parkinsons, Autism -which affects 1 in 91 children, 1 in 58 boys-can decimate families phyisically, emotionally, financially and spiritually. HollyRod Foundation paves its road through the simple act of providing comfort along the way with medical, physical and emotional support to achieve a better quality of life for individuals and their families. HollyRod Foundation is currently developing plans to open their first "hollyrod4kids Miracle House" in Los Angeles, a central location where families in the autism community can go for support, guidance, treatment and hope.

  • It's good that Rodney Jr's whole family is advocating for him.

  • He's a smart kid. Every kid with autism deserves to be loved and to have friends. :) He's right though people who have autism deserve a chance. I'm crying right now. :) This is very well done.

  • My son was diagnosed with PDD this year and it is very hard to deal with. My son is very smart and make good grades and look normal but his social skills are really the biggest issue. Becasue he is smart in school some people at his school just write him off as nothing is wrong with him and he just does weird things.I've watched my son play alone on recess, get picked on and don’t understand why he doesn’t have friends. Thanks for this video I couldn’t watch it a 2nd time b/c I would just cry.
