@annetrainsdragons no it says "get it under the blood" they mean pray and ask for forgiveness...
Y would some1 ask for forgiveness if they didn't believe? If some1 doesn't believe, they wouldn't ask for forgiveness to "get it under the blood." Nail it the Cross doesn't mean go buy a cross, a nail, a piece of paper, and a pen then literally nail it to the tree... It's called poetic licenses. :-)
