Magician Lord (Neo Geo) gameplay footage

That game was just to hard to play on the origiinal Neogeo Arcade... Also its gameplay is very repetitive... Voted for worst game ever

Damn, this game is cheap in the sense of difficulty. I do wish that if they made a sequel that they get rid of how constantly you got hit by baddies coming from everywhere at once without much time to react. And this is from the Neo Geo Classics Collection on Wii.

I just ordered this game for the PS2, on the arcade compilation series.

Sadly, though the graphics are practically identical, they made some changes, as shown on the youtube comparisons between the arcade and PS2 version.

For the first boss, for instance, the first attack in the arcades is about six or seven fireballs. In the PS2 version, the first boss attack is merely one fireball.

I wish that Alpha Denshi did make another Magician Lord. I always liked hearing what the main enemy says before you fight a boss.

The games were more expensive because they had biger rom chips in them the megadrive was limited to 7 megabit cartriges the neo games started out at 46 mbits and went upto more than 600 Mbits.

yeah tell me about it narco80. There is some neo geo games now I belive thats very expensive. This is a good game, I just wished you had a melee option like swords, daggers,etc. Music is top notch. Wish they made an rpg out of it like they did with samurai showdown. Whats the deal with magician lord II? Got canceled long time ago? If I remember right, it got canned.

wow this game look really good, i wanted to have a neo geo so badly when i was a child, but it was too much expensive.
