I hope in years to come he gets the recognition and accolades he so rightly deserves for his performance in this masterpiece of a film.

There are 2 reasons why this film,for me,is the most touching and profound movie i`ve ever seen. First is the speech given by the young Che Guevara in the leper hospital. I defy anyone with a heart not to be stirred or inspired by the message and sincerity of its words.

Secondly, Gael Garcia Bernal, about 25 when this movie was made, is uncannily similar to an older version of my own teenage son and Gaels performance is so hypnotic that its always impossible to watch the scenes when Che is ill.

Yo leí el libro en el que se basó esta película. Y el personaje que Gael interpreta es muy cercano al que escribió el libro, al que vivió esas experiencias.

Yo creo que cuando Ernesto Guevara escribió ese diario, aún distaba mucho de ser el personaje en que luego se convertiría.

Gran interpretación de Gael.
