I ride a restored 1977 Honda CB750K right now but I'm looking real hard at a new ZX14. 'Busa seems more comfortable than the ZX though for my body type =/

@Kawasakiforlife7 Not even close. The only time your statement is correct is if you take the same exact motor and make it higher displacement. Just an example, current Mazda 1.3L motors put out more power, revs higher, and gets higher fuel economy than their 2L. There are many factors to performance, displacement is only one of them.

@mkiv007 so you put what? $2000 tops into the mustang, and like 10 or more into the colbalt? no replacement for displacement. you can make any car fast, but a bigger motor will always win with the same amount of money

@gtdrummerdude power to weight ratio dude, and those LSJ engines were MADE to hold up to 1000hp so i'm pretty sure he didnt just throw a procharger in there and hope for the best....hell just putting a turbo in the mix will fuck shit up....not downing the mustang because i drive one....and also an SS =)

@mkiv007 On ~340 whp, my 2710 lb Mustang blows the tires off in second and spins most of the way through third. This Cobalt didn't get al ick of wheelspin in second gear. If it even had 300 to the tires it would have dusted second gear even with drag radials. Like I said, bring it out and run against my junk. We've got the camera covered, you just have to cover the excuses.

@mkiv007 Anyone who has been around racing and tuning long enough can tell by ear that the Cobalt is not "maxed out". The exhaust note is relatively mild. I would have no problem beating the Cobalt with my Mustang and i'd be glad to back that statement up. Bring it out and find out. 9.0:1 comp 302, stock iron GT40Ps, mild cam, short tubes, gears, 100 shot. A supercharged 2V GT with a proper setup could take me so if I can take the Cobalt, there's no way this GT was 'charged.

@gtdrummerdude i know whats in it i took a ride in it when i went to there shop. its not hard to get alot of hp out of a cobalt. my buddies stock cobalt went from 205 to 425whp after a zzp turbo kit was installed on his car. Everyone says oh its a 4banger so what everyone likes different cars for different reasons. u cam a v8 or vg we can cam our 4bangers 2. Huge market for cobalt mods same as a mustang.

lol just come to thunder valley in oklahoma city I will bring my 383 stroker with bordix 200cc heads my air gap high rise intake hooker super comp headers built 700r4 tranny with 3.73 rear end and and I promise you that by the time that charger of yours gets up to the high end you need the quarter will be done and over, with you seeing my plate that reads rice eater..
Thats funny that you guys think mustangs are so fast. lol I would have put pics if the engine but you guys would still make stupied comments. the cobalt in this video is built and the procharger is maxed out. and you cant hear a vortech on a mustang when both cars have nice loud exhaust.. o and it getting its ass whooped makes it hard to hear too.
