It's not a 24VAC system and swap your 5881 antennas to the correct position. Instead of strapping out the zones with 2K EOL's just zero out zones 1-9. If you hardwire any zones, make sure the EOL's go to the EOL.

I understood everything. Long story short Lighting hit out house and knocked out our adt's ademcos board. So I bought a new one of ebay and with a non aphla keypad reprogrammed the whole thing and re-wired it. I also bought a additional wave 2 siren mounted it in the attic. Took about 4 hours but was worth it.

you should really add a couple smoke detectors in, they only cost $30 and up for wired and $60 and up for wireless (try aesecurity). who knows, could save the cat when you're away!
