So good in acoustic

Such a great song.

I think Steven Page is one of the most underrated lyricists. You can feel such emotion in his songs, esp. when he's singing this one.

@Kirby1701 I think because some of the higher notes are hard to hit in a setting where you can't belt

Steven page rules!

They've been deep for a long time, though, as well. People think of early BNL and they think of If I Had $1,000,000 and Yoko Ono, but they were doing really dark stuff like The Flag and Wrap Your Arms Around Me, too.

These lyrics are so meaningful in so many different ways, I wish they/he would do more of this kinda stuff. I love the happy rockin' songs and all but this is just the best.

I always felt it was the war against depression, while on anti-depressants. I saw them do this in concert right after the album dropped. People cheered when he talked about the bridge & the Luminous Veil and people jumping off it anyway. He was crying when he started playing the song. People who don't understand depression think suicide is just a joke.

Yeah, there's certainly a lot of darkness on their albums, even if it's sometimes in the guise of a singable, joyful melody.
They're incredibly deep, especially on BLAM and BLAMen.
