I looked into this. The judge committed suicide just hours after this occurred. Pretty tragic if you ask me. He was in the wrong, both in the DUI and in the suicide. He left behind a wife and three children...

This helps to show that even judges aren't above the law, and it also shows that he wasn't an accountable person either. Here is the same person that would have you or I locked up for the vary offense that he committed, but didn't want the same punishment to be applied to himself, you reap what you sow, and that's definitely true in this case.
