I don't care what your political persuasion is...(and Zappa was a Conservative). Someone tell me why
the Catholic Church, Scientology, et all, is EXEMPT from paying taxes on property, etc......I'm mad too, Frank. Right on.

  • Occupy wall street needs to address this issue as well.

    TAX THE CHURCH!!!!!!

  • @sd31263

Zappa was a self described conservative. Conservative does not mean Republican. Sounds like you didn't read his book.

  • Zappa was awesome!!!

  • @Mattm1986 Zappa was simply a self-made businessman with liberal-leaning social values who looked after his financial interests. That's just reality, not conservative. He made his living doing liberal "things" but watched his wallet very carefully. He had both liberal and conservative values and knew how and where to place those values.

  • @pinghead105 Let me get this straight, you can debate whether $cientology is a religion or not, but atheism is a religion? Can you show me where the nearest atheist temple is, where the holy books of atheism is, heck, can you even show me what the basically tenets are. If disbelief in gods constitutes a religious belief, then two column accounting and football are religions.

  • So if the government can tax church's then they can control them ( i.e.. Europe, Russia, China etc. ) You can debate what really makes a church or weather Scientology is a religion, ( atheism is ) but you can't debate the reason why our Founders didn't want to tax them. If Frank was for real Freedom ( and I like what he say most to the time ) then he wouldn't be so pissed off at not taxing Churches.

  • Ok here is the reason why church's aren't and should't be taxed, If you can tax it you can control it. Freedom of speech goes along with freedom of religion. When our founding fathers started this country the did it in part in churches. Early church's ( not today ) did charity work in the communities and were a central place for people to go in hard times. We aren't talking cults either. You used to be able to give political speeches from the pulpits ( like the Dems. do now )

  • im mad about that too Frank! They owe the US tax payers billions and billions...

  • hmmmm something to think about

  • @boredmonkey29

You still don't have any place stating his opinion. Who knows, maybe his opinion on this movement would've been different?

And I don't need instructions on how to use YouTube or how to find any information on Zappa, thank you.

    Cunt. :)

  • @AlexWerkmeister712 All you have to do is type in "Frank Zappa on Movements" and you'll understand. Douchebag.
