@scottmosher The music is made via AudioMulch (software) - I used one of the demo configurations and messed around with it a bit, added samples, as per end credits.

@riceicles123 Wiki says Plinian and Vulcanian, and from the descriptions that sounds about right from my non-expert 2 hour experience of the volcano :)

It probably would be - that's why the volcano guides take you to the side of the volcano where the wind isn't blowing the ash. They also monitor the level of volcano activity and that determines how close you are allowed to go.

i went there with school last year, i'm from QLD, australia. It was absolutely stunning. i'll admit i was scared at first but some people were sitting with their legs over the edge. the teachers didn't let us get that close though :P it was stunning :) i suggest it to anyone and everyone :)
