On Wednesday, January 17 at 5:34 PM, by a vote of 356 - 71, the House of Representatives voted in favor of cutting interest rates on student loans. Learn more at www.Speaker.gov.
People need to be allowed to lower their interest rates, such as by refinancing, on their student loans. Lowering the interest rates now only affects new graduates or those who have not consilodated their student loans yet. I'm stuck at an 8.5% FOREVER.
Go Mme. Speaker!! Hopefully the next vote will have to do with impeaching Bush/Cheney for their crimes against humanity. True Americans will vote "yea" in such measure.

This bill doesn't lower the cost of college tuition. This lady has no clue what HR5 is about.

It's been a long 20 years since we had a good Speaker. Now we have a brilliant one. I'm convinced she'll keep us in the majority for years.
