After harkening back to the days when the scrap yard was still concealed, and it was easy to get in and explore, I don't regret getting some coal out of 1151's firebox. And if the VMOT publicly announced a volunteer restoration team I would be on it in a heartbeat. (PS to those who didn't see the "Uploader Comments": All of these locomotives have been saved, I think a museum in Portsmouth supplied the funding (but I'm not sure, Google it).) Nice pics BTW.

engine 917 is saved and will become PART OF A RESTURAUNT!!??? since when did making locomotives part of a building bexccome presservation? granted it's out of the scrapyard but becoming abuilding is just as bad. i say tis cause i've seen passenger cars quote "prerserved" by incroperating them in to building and the results can be horrifiying. nice vdeo btw.
what ashme that they r just sitting there :(

Any boiler pressure gauges looking for some that go to some were between 200 and pounds of pressure

@ble643 All thing like that are long gone. Either removed when it was scrapped back in the 50's or taken by treasure hunters.
