A quick go on the figure eight track. I drove poorly, but this vid is great in that it shows the over the top, bump and grind racing in the game. Note where I was vying for first place and tangled with the lead car. Ugly, ugly exchange...

This game is fun with awesome visuals and intense action. It's a shame this one didn't receive the same level of attention its other M3 bretheren did.

BTW, LOL at the Dreamcast banners all over trackside. There is NO way the Dreamcast could have handled this game.

  • Dude I think the dreamcast could have easily handled this game.

  • Maybe, but it certainly couldn't have handled it well. The videos of the Scud Race tech demo give an insight as to what the M3 racers would have been like had they been ported. There would have been a considerable loss of detail and probably a frame-rate hit, as well. Sega Rally 2 on the DC is an example of this. I like the DC and Naomi, but Model 3 was more powerful. Thanks for commenting.

  • I noticed something: the "Agile, but Tricky" Euro-Prototype car has a Sonic the Hedgehog insignia on the hood of the car (Sonic's head which makes up part of the Sonic Team logo; except here, it's black instead of blue) when I played this in an arcade in 2001. I wonder if you ever tried the game with this car before? I'm just curious. Keep up the good work.

  • Hmm... hadn't noticed the Sonic logo. I'll have to check that out. That is, of course, if I can stand to drive that thingfpr am entire race. "Tricky" is being quite generous...

  • This game is emulated (partially) now on the super-model emu

  • Nice find, I've never seen one of these in the flesh, very rare game. I guess this is the closest thing they ever made to a Power Drift sequel.

    Amazing collection, lucky guy!

  • Hello Shinradias,

Not really easy for move, too quickly, but a good game, i love that ! :) Enjoy
