@polidic Stafford says that people should “break free”. Some of these reasons have to do with the mind control of the WTBTS, theological reasons, devotion to men instead of the Scripture, they lead by fear and intimidation. Stafford tells us that “the Society regularly spreads fear and intimidation throughout the congregations and its elders enforce it to such an extent that there is NO contrary point of view permitted in the congregations, EVER” . In the end he got sick of defending it.

Stafford had a solid opening here. His emphasis on Jesus calling The Jews Gods was smart. Although there must be an obvious divide in language in humans being called savior and Jehovah claiming to be the only savior in a different way. Christ has the same application as Jehovah here and not the humans. Especially when Jesus said it was only through him that we could be saved. There in lies the problem IMO
