  • The University of Minnesota Center for Restorative Justice & Peacemaking has a PDF file available for Twelve Steps of Personal Peacemaking by Mark Umbreit, which begins: "1. Admit that conflict and violence within yourself and among your relationships consumes too much of your energy, creates stress, and leads to unhappiness."

    For a person who sometimes defines himself as a recovering violent person, I find this document quite delightful and appropriate.
