Indeed. Maestro Pavarotti in his early years had the agility of a tenore leggiero while being a tenore lyrico. And such an exceptional voice was commanded by a superb technique it created operatic excellence. The top Cs are so explosive and yet produced so effortlessly, it is beyond comparison.
