Meet published author Ed Lin, who is of Taiwanese and Chinese descent. He has just released One Red Bastard, the third book in his mystery series featuring protagonist Robert Chow. His earlier books, Waylaid, This Is a Bust, and Snakes Can't Run, all won Asian American Literary Awards.

TaiwaneseAmerican.org's Ho Chie Tsai recently caught up with Ed Lin on his West Coast book tour during San Francisco's 2012 Asian Heritage Street Celebration at the Eastwind Books of Berkeley booth. In this video, he takes a few minutes to tell us about his life as an author and his books. He also shares some thoughts about his recent visit to Taipei as well as his next book project relating to Taiwan.
