The national peace organization CODEPINK drove its hot pink truck through downtown Cheyenne today, hoping to draw attention and inspire hope.

The organization launched its Camp Hope campaign as part of a cross country trek to remind President-elect Barack Obama to make good on his campaign promises.

Some of the issues the organization hopes Obama will address early include: the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, immigration rights, and universal health care. However, the main goal of Camp Hope is to tour the country to find out what everyone else wanta from Obama during his term in office.

There are too many things that need to be fixed in America. I just don't see how President Obama can fix them all. George Bush has trashed the economy for the whole world and in order to fix all the problems that America faces we need to build up the economy and put people back to work. Then if the economy picks up we can then fix healthcare, education, Medicare, environment, infrastructure, crime, Aids, Middle East and the rest of societies ills. Like getting New England in the Super Bowl.

I would rather they address the problems that impact people's lives daily than looking to punish the man that caused those problems in the first place.
