  • nice vid, but i don't get why you had C130's in there etc

  • Because we fly in them on a fairly regular basis!

  • omg thts soo kwl lool im nervous i dno why :( i just dnt wana feel like i cant do the stuff i have no self conidence at all

  • Everything is optional, you're not expected to have any experience or knowledge when you start out. You'll be taught everything you need to know by excellent staff and senior cadets. Go on, give it a go.

  • join the air cadets

  • I am a Cadet in 2519 sqd The best Thing i like in cadets is aerobatics. with Flt Lt Kay x

  • I joined that lot 1574 Pembroke Dock Squadron in 1963 with captain Hewitt, and flight officer Smyth Smith really.

we fly from RAF Shawbury, but we used the local Army barrack at the Docks for fire practise.

We also use to work at the Old Sunderland which was at the docks. My mates Barry Saunders and David Stevens.

  • @MsDrums123 for gliding you just need to have done part of your first class. for shooting you just need a WHT (Weapons handling test) which should be conducted on squadron. and all the training you need for flying will be done in the plane, you will just have a quick brief beforehand :)

  • Do you have to be enrolled with ur 3822 to do gliding and shooting, and do you need to be 1st class or above, i want to do it but i think you have to be at least be 1st class. also do u have to do training before you acc go in the plane??

  • @TheRealMacoy10 its best to join urself coz u get noticed quickly and people end up never turning up so your on ur own, best to make new friends there :)

  • im kinda nervous to go by myself, dunno why so im gonna try and convince one of my freinds to go with me.

Dose anyone know a good place in Sheffield??

  • i loved my sqrn before they started to hate me i was in cadets for 3 years got to the highest classification and done everythng became captian in compitions and after all that i dotn get promoted My sqrn sucks! iam gone now to a different sqrn!

  • Hey from 1110 Ashington Sqn ATC :) We get to fly at RAF Topcliff and Leeming (Glidng and powered respectively) and we have our own .22 range on our Sqn. I'm currently transferring my L98A1 qualification to the A2. I'm also in charge of radio training at my Sqn and I look after a lot of the probationers. I'm only 15 and I've been in for 2 years XD
