@OutOfTheClosetProd Agreed and further more susan Id say hes in a better position than John in 88. Josh Klinghoffer has already toured with RHCP as rhythm guitarist keys and backup vox. So he already knows the old stuff. Understands the logisitcs of touring. and knows Frusciantes approach more than anyone else. The Gods will carry this band further than any of us will understand until were 60. God Speed

@OutOfTheClosetProd John writes most of the songs. He (among Chad and Flea) is the musical creativity of the band. Each member is irreplaceable. Josh will just be another Dave Navarro. It will more than likely be a sub-par attempt.

@hojima I said nothing about it slowing down. He is indeed a better player now but everything after Californication is very much the band going along with John's creative ideas. Flea even said he was going to quit at one point because of it. Less of a role in the process doesn't mean i was slating his abilities and i certainly made no mention of 'slowing down'. Read first. Lol at Flea w/a cape...BTW I happen to strongly disagree w/the general thought that Frusciante "carries" the band...to those people I ask: What the hell are you smoking? I am just as sadden by Frusciante's departure as anyone, but Flea and Chad are among the best rhythm sections of ALL TIME, and Kiedis is just a poet, pure and simple. The wouldn't even consider Josh if they didn't groove w/him, PERIOD. It's not like it's his first rodeo either. Josh is at the EXACT same place John was in 88

Or if you notice how John has been carrying the band since Californication and that the other members have gradually put in less effort as time goes on. It's best it ends here.
