YTPMV practice run #3 of content taken from the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic show no keygen music this time.
Song is from Final Fantasy 7, "Farm Boy," but the file I based it off of is "2-05 Farm Boy Xg.mid" from somewhere.
No backtrack.
Sony Vegas crashes during renders too much.

@StarWarsXM Ahh, thanks. I guess that's what I was doing there.

Granular sampling is the art of taking the smallest possible sample out of a sample, I.E. even if I were to say "ah" as fast as possible, there would still be 10 or more total oscillations in the sample, and granular sampling only needs 1 (more then that, you actually can't do it with two).
Granular synthesis is a little more general, it just means you take any sample and loop it so short that it becomes monotone and pitchable, but also unrecognizable.

@anonymous14z Thanks for the comment.
Never heard of granular synthesis before.
Anyways, if the one around 0:40 is what you're referring to, the MIDI file had 2 tracks (8 and 9) with some fast paced notes with instrument Steel-str.GT, what I was sort of going for. Mine sounded like impulse screeching too much so I boosted the middle freqs, lowered highs, and threw in some chorus VST to hopefully smooth it.
I edited the description with a picture from the project to show.

I find the oscillating sounds somewhat relaxing.
Where you going for granular synthesis?
