  • a bit narrow?

  • na not really. For karts anyway. Normal size really exept kart tracks that are used for cars as well.

  • The plans for the new extensions are very good......i think the tracks fine as it is...but an extension will vastly improve it

  • yes, i agree. The 1st half of the track atm is lacking a bit. turn 5 and turn 6 (the chicane) and the funnest corners on the track but the 1st half needs to be just a bit more technical.

When they extend because of two hairpins there should be a lot more over takeing.

  • hows the paddock for space?

I'm going there for the Motors TV round and are they going to be able to fit all 150 of us in there?

  • hmm...to be honest its not great.

Its very long and thin, great for people with just one kart and a single awning space but not for a race team.

I raced in the motors TV last year when it was just at wigan...was good fun.

  • this is minimax/junor mixed..

  • yer shud b betta shudda med it longer wen they med it lyk coz it oni been there 4 bout 1 year lyk

  • yes sorry, i spelt it wrong lol.

Well, its not to bad for 125cc junior rotax's.

But for 125cc or 250cc gearbox or even senior rotax's its to small really.

There is plans to extend the track for next year though that would make it around the 42sec mark which is perfectly normal.

  • i believe u mean hooton park nd the circuit is a bit short 4 faster karts
