I highly recommend viewing the pictorial instructions here in addition to the video: http://donyaquick.deviantart.com/art/Origami-Dragon-Instructions-122972885
USAGE POLICY: To me this design is not complicated, and I am aware that other people have happened across similar patterns from the bird base, some designs being much older than mine. However, I did develop this one myself, so I consider this my own design (or "version of a bird base dragon", if you prefer) even if it bears a lot of similarity to other independently-developed designs. Please do not reproduce my tutorials, and if you use them to make models to post here or on other websites, credit the tutorial or instructions you used.
i made my first on with the foil paper and i messed up on the legs but the paper
helped me keep them there without inside reverse folding it was easy
thnx for making this vid!

This could totally be a stand alone tutorial. I was rather lost when reading the written instructions when it came to the leg parts, but I was able to follow (at least well enough to make leg-ish things) with the video. It doesn't help that I was using a tiny piece of regular printed paper.. but it still turned out nicely!
Many thanks for taking the time to put this together. :D
