is totem movie player available for windows???
if it is, i'd go with that.. it's freakin nice.. i used to use vlc (which is also really really good) but since i started using linux, i've been using totem a lot more than vlc...

VLC is amazing. You can also view capture cards, videos can play as the desktop wallpaper, and (I'm pretty sure) it comes with a lot of codecs.
