I think you did a top job on that p38 it rates up as high as other models I have seenon youtube I get where the other guy is coming from about the decals but you would have to admit you did a pretty awesome job!!

ya i tryed building a delta dart jet airplane that they used in the airforce i think i messed it up terribly, now im working on a b-25 and its turning out grate. nice vid

dear atomicdog32, your build is beautyful in most basics. But I hope some have already given you a pointer about the visible decal film? If not: The proper way is to place the decals on a gloss finish, then afterwards add a flat coat overall, if the end finish is to be flat. If you use flat paints, the procedure is to apply a gloss clear coat before decals. Otherwise there are 'authentic' color paints that come with a gloss finish, like Xtracolor, or you can mix yourself. from gloss paints.
