2009 San Diego Insider feature documenting the adaptive reuse and exterior restoration of the historic San Diego Electrical Railway / SDG&E Station B power plant in downtown San Diego. Built in 1911 and enlarged in the 1920s the 43 story, 248 unit condo project is named Electra and was completed in 2008. It is San Diegos tallest residential building. Developer & Contractor: Bosa. Architect: Chris Dikeakos Architects Inc. Preservation Oversight: San Diego Historical Resources Board, Centre City Development Corporation (CCDC) & Heritage Architecture & Planning.
