What dprrn said. The oil pressure drop is caused by the power steering pump slowing down the engine. That part is perfectly normal.

powersteering pump pulls power from the motor dropping the idle below that of what the alt can use. causing it's voltage regulator to cut it. try reving it to about 1.5k then doing that again.
