Saw one similar to this at Stonehenge in 2009 and got a shot of it flying over the Stones, whilst I was inside. We thought it belonged to the Army or it was being used for survailence.

@dlancelot12 I agree, you could build a large quad rotor with a high end camera for a lot less.If you look,I don't have link ,there is a large quad,with camera on utube.Build the frame and then have someone do the setup,programming etc for you.

I got a quote from these guys, it was around $50,000 for their unit plus: -HD camera with night vision, and infra-red, all the mounts, etc. This unit flys for around 15-20 minutes. I will be purchasing something more along the lines of a dual turbine unit that can carry a 15lb load...this draganfly can only carry a lb. or so...meaning your camera equipment is going to be super expensive because it has to be super small. This unit is for people with a lot of money and not a lot of brains.

I'm sorry but I can get video just as good using rubberbands with a good hd cam on my heli now for a fraction of the price of this thing.. It does look cool tho

I think video stabilization software was used on this shot. When you buy the Draganflyer SAVS you have access to download the software. The Draganflyer X6 is much more stable in flight and results in better video/photos.
